The first Hope into Action home in Reading was opened in 2016, providing accommodation to single men in recovery from addiction who had worked through rehabilitation programs at Yeldall Manor. The second home opened in 2017 for single women and women with a child. Our third home opened in 2021 for single men, our fourth in 2025, and a fifth in 2026 for a family. We can now house up to 11 single men or women and a family who have found themselves homeless from a wide variety of backgrounds.
To work alongside more local churches in Reading (and surrounding areas) and provide more homes for those in need.
You can help in a number of ways.

Secondly, you can give! We are in much need of regular funding or donations to keep our houses open, to empower our tenants and our church volunteers, and our staff in carrying out their mission.
